Lonesome Cove will be closing for the winter as of October 1, 2019

Our rates are based on double occupancy (2 people).
Each additional occupant (adult, child, infant) beyond the
double occupancy
 rate is an additional $25 per night.
2019 Summer Season (May 1-September 30) 

Rates currently start at $255 per night.

We currently take reservations over the phone only. All reservations must be accompanied by a paid deposit.  Deposits are based on the amount of days your reservation encompasses & the amount of people in your party.


Cancellations occurring within 30 days of the original arrival date will NOT be refunded the paid deposit.

Cancellations occurring within a 10 day period prior to arrival date will be charged for the entire amount of the original reservation. We require that you adhere to the duration of your original reservation also. The remoteness of our island does not allow us to fill sudden vacancies.CHECK IN 3pm -6pm (Please no early arrivals!)

CHECK OUT by 11:00am on departure day. (Sorry, no late checkouts) A $40 late fee will be applied.

NO SMOKING in any of our buildings.
Small buckets can be found on your decks for extinguishing your cigarettes.


Cell Service is very limited on our property. You may bounce off of Canada & incur roaming charges if you choose to keep your phones turned on. We do offer a land line for local calls if you need to make reservations, etc. 

NO sleeping on boats.

NO camping.

No fireworks, BB Guns, Paint guns, etc. on our property.

No beach fires or bonfires by the cabins. Please use designated common fire pit area only.

Our cabins are housekeeping cabins. This means we do not offer daily maid service. Fresh linens & towels are supplied when you check in. If you are here for an extended stay of 3 days or more, we will be happy to exchange towels with you at the office.

Our cabins are equipped with dishes, basic cooking utensils & pots & pans. Each unit also has a charcoal barbeque. We do not supply the charcoal briquettes.
You will need to bring charcoal briquettes with you.

We expect you to leave your cabin as clean as possible when you check out. This includes…

1. Removing all the food from the refrigerator & cupboards. 

2.Please thoroughly wash all dishes, pots, pans, etc. and return them to cupboards. Return any contents belonging to another cabin to that cabin.

3.Please remove all garbage & recycling from the cabin when you leave. Place it in the outside depository trash pen by the woodsheds.

Please help us keep the rates affordable by taking care of the cabins & their contents as if they were your own. You will incur an additional charge if you leave the cabin messy.

WiFi-we offer limited data WiFi only. We offer it so you can connect with your family & friends.  It is a limited data plan though.  Please do NOT stream videos or upload/download files.

Visitors-any & all visitors must be approved by the managers well in advance. Our property is first & foremost for our paying guests. This policy is to protect peace & quiet of all of our paying customers.  

Parents must watch and supervise children AT ALL TIMES for their safety. Children are not allowed on ramp or dock without an adult. The water here is very cold & the under currents are very swift and dangerous.Please keep in mind most of our guests are here to escape from  their busy lives & enjoy some PEACE & QUIET, so please caution your children not to scream & yell near the cabins while playing. We suggest any ball games be played in the field behind the cabins as a courtesy to the other guests. Please be considerate of others & their experience here.

Our library is there for your convenience & appreciation. You are welcome to take a book out to read it while you are here. If you need to take a book home with you to finish it, just mail it back to us at a later date. Please help us to keep the library clean & organized for all of our guests by supervising your children while they are in there.

Our tide pools & ponds are a fun place to learn about nature. Please observe them without disturbing or removing the creatures that live there. It is our job to protect & preserve their habitat for all of our guests to experience.We do not advise touching, feeding or trying to interact with any of the wildlife on our islands. Please respect their boundaries & coexist with them at a distance!
