The smell of the sea mingles with the scent of new mown grass. The deer stroll through the grounds and the seal pups are out early with their mothers learning the ways of the world. In the morning my guests are sitting on their decks with cup of coffee in hand, watching the first of the sailboats drifting by. Evening mixes the smell of the BBQ's and the colors of the sunset to create a feeling of calm and quiet. Peace, relaxation, the remembered lazy days of childhood, all are here waiting at the cove. The beach is swept clean by the tide. New shells and agates and bits of sand polished glass await discovery.
